A casino is usually described from the customer’s side. Staffroom starts on the other side of the table: the employee standing through the night, the inspector making a public ruling, the pit boss trying to move breaks, and the manager deciding what the property will protect when revenue and procedure conflict.
Staffroom is the wider home; Dealer Life remains a core pillar
Dealer Life began with the working reality behind table games. Staffroom keeps that identity as its dedicated table-games and casino-floor pillar—including Dealer Casebook—while giving the wider publication room for Slots, Surveillance, Cage, hosts, poker, management, systems, international employment, and other casino roles.
This means the older Dealer Life name is not being erased. It now describes the part of Staffroom focused most directly on dealers, supervisors, live-floor judgment, and the operational situations that shaped the original publication.
What belongs here
The publication covers training, career progression, income, tips, health, family life, management, ethics, workplace culture, international contracts, and leaving the industry. It also includes connected departments because the floor does not operate alone.
Staffroom does not sell casino bonuses, publish winning systems, or use employees as decoration around gambling content. Practical experience is identified as experience. Current legal, licensing, salary, visa, employment-rights, and health claims require appropriate verification.
Who it is for
A trainee may need help choosing a school. An experienced dealer may be deciding whether supervision is worth it. A casino manager may need a clearer way to handle handovers or staff correction. The language should work for all three without pretending their problems are the same.
