How it works
The calculator applies only the method you select: equal shares, proportional hours, or proportional points. For weighted methods, one person’s share is the pool multiplied by that person’s units divided by total eligible units.
Working tool
Calculate a transparent pooled-tip distribution using equal shares, hours, or weighted points.
Transparent methodology
The calculator applies only the method you select: equal shares, proportional hours, or proportional points. For weighted methods, one person’s share is the pool multiplied by that person’s units divided by total eligible units.
The result shows the mathematical share produced by the entered pool and units.
It cannot decide who is legally eligible, whether managers may participate, how taxes apply, or whether a property’s point system is fair.
If a 1,000-unit pool is shared across 400 eligible hours and one dealer worked 40 of those hours, the calculated share is 100 units.
